Victoria Monet pays tribute to some of music’s legendary female artists in her “Alright” music video.
Directed by Dave Meyers and choreography by Sean Bankhead, the striking visuals finds the Grammy Award-winning songstress donning iconic looks from Janet Jackson and Missy Elliott to TLC and Britney Spears.
“Once he think he touched my soul / I’ll be back out here solo / Yeah, he might call me a ho / But I like to call it immortal,” she sings on the Kaytranada-produced track while mimicking the artists’ choreography.
“Alright” is one of the many standouts from Victoria Monet’s 2023 highly-praised album, Jaguar 2.
