Dress the Dead (Forbidden, Vio-lence) Release Provocative Music Video for “Knives Out”

Dress the Dead, the new band featuring  guitarist Craig Locicero (Forbidden), drummer Mark Hernandez (Forbidden, Vio-lence), bassist James Walker (Manmade God), and vocalist Kayla Dixon (Witch Mountain), have released a video for their song “Knives Out.”

The track itself was released was released earlier this year, but I’m sharing the video anyway because a) Dress the Dead are really great and deserve your attention, and b) the video looks unfavorably upon a certain nightmare machine about whom history simply cannot say enough bad things (es, he’s gone, and we’d like to just forget about him forever, but the culture that empowered him is still very much alive).

You can peep the video below.

The band has previously said that they plan to release one track a month until eight songs have debuted at which point those songs will be released as an album. That puts the record’s release sometime around August. Go here to listen to the previously-released tracks “Circus Fleas,” “1969,” and “You Only Get off When I Cry.” All of the songs were by Machine Head’s Robb Flynn and mixed by Zach Ohren (Machine Head, Suffocation, All Shall Perish, etc.).
