2021 American Music Awards Winners Announced: See the Full List

The 2021 American Music Awards are upon us!

On Sunday (Nov. 21), the AMAs will be taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. Cardi B will be hosting the big night.

This year, first-time nominee Olivia Rodrigo is the most-nominated artist with seven nominations. The Weekend comes in second with six nominations. Doja Cat, Bad Bunny and Given are tied with five apiece.  The show will air live at 8 PM ET on ABC.

Nominees are selected by “key fan interactions” through the Billboard charts, streaming, album sales and radio play. Winners are then selected through fan votes through various online and social media voting methods.

The AMAs created two new categories this year: Favorite Trending Song and Favorite Gospel Artist and Favorite Latin Duo/Group.

Numerous performances and collaborations from every genre of music will take place this evening. Earlier this morning, Megan Thee Stallion announced via Twitter that she had to pull out of her scheduled collaboration with BTS.

“I was so excited to go to the @AMAs and perform with @BTS_official, but due to an unexpected personal matter, I can no longer attend,” she wrote.
