The first trailer for The Bob’s Burgers Movie has just been released and it’s… sexy? Just ask Linda, who leads the visual off by shouting, “It’s summer, and sex sells, baby!”
There’s a whole lot more going on than cheap thrills, however. Natural disasters, rock stars and robots all pop up in the first look at the upcoming Bob’s Burgers movie.

In the upcoming film, Bob Belcher (H. Jon Benjamin) and the gang must save summer — and probably more importantly, their burger shop — after a water main-break spawns a giant sinkhole in front of Bob’s Burgers. The obstruction makes it impossible to get into the entrance. While Bob and Linda (John Roberts) attempt to keep their business from ruin, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save the restaurant.
According to the description under the trailer, “As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.” The movie, dubbed an “animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure” was co-directed by Loren Bouchard and Bernard Derriman.
