The bass virtuoso appears in “Chapter 4 – The Gathering Storm” as a body-modification artist. Watch the show on Disney+. His first appearance as an actor on television follows numerous songs he contributed to soundtracks, including his recent song “Satellite” for Issa Rae’s HBO series Insecure and his contributions to the soundtrack of the rebooted ThunderCats cartoon. He has, of course, done some acting in his many music videos, including the below “Dragonball Durag” visual where he attempts to all of Haim.

His last album was It Is What It Is, which won a Grammy. He recently reissued his debut album The Golden Age of Apocalypse. Read “Thundercat’s Love Advice for Valentine’s Day” over on the Pitch.
