Video: Killswitch Engage Joined Onstage by Ex-Vocalist Howard Jones for Three Songs

This weekend saw Killswitch Engage kick off their rescheduled Atonement tour with August Burns Red and Light The Torch. The latter band adds a bit of Shakespearean poetry to the mix, as Light The Torch is fronted by ex-Killswitch vocalist Howard Jones. But it appears that all’s well between the parties, as Jones joined the band onstage for a couple of songs on Friday night at the trek’s opening date.

Jones joined the band for three songs — “Rose of Sharyn,” “The End of Heartache,” and “Signal Fire.” The last one is an interesting choice, because while “Rose” and “End” are tracks that Howard Jones recorded with a band, “Signal Fire” comes from 2019’s Atonement, which he did not. Good on the dude for performing a song that wasn’t his.

“Fuck drama, drama is bullshit,” said guitarist Adam D. at the beginning of the performance. “We still love Howard, we fuckin’ love the shit out of Jesse — it doesn’t matter!”

Check out the metalcore bro-down below:
