Dinosaur Jr. are hitting the road. The indie rock stalwarts have extended their 2022 tour, adding a leg in Europe this fall before wrapping things up late this year with a handful of shows alongside their fellow ’90s legends Guided by Voices.
After some COVID-related delays, Dinosaur Jr.’s tour finally begins in just under a month, kicking off at Ithaca’s State Theater on September 9th. They’ll cover much of the Midwest and Northeast before heading off to Dublin on October 10th. After a 13-night run across the pond, Dinosaur Jr. will then return in late November for five shows total with GBV: Three in Massachusetts, one in Philly, and one in New York City.

Dinosaur Jr.’s tour is in support of Sweep It into Space, their 12th studio album, which arrived back in April 2021. Meanwhile, GBV are readying their 34th studio album It’s Not Them. It Couldn’t Be Them. It Is Them!, which arrives this October.
