TeaMarrr Shares ‘Wasted’ Video

TeaMarrr has shared a video for her recent single “Wasted.”

Directed by Jean Shepherd, the visual begins with a noticeably fed-up TeaMarrr bickering with her male partner about his contribution to the daily household chores.

Amid the spat, she conjures up some magical tea and temporarily escapes her current reality for two alternative lives. You’ll have to watch the full video to see which life she chooses.

“This music video it’s based on a true story I really put my heart n shadow work in this visual using some of the people whom I love from my real life,” TeaMarrr explained on Instagram about the video concept.

“Wasted” is TeaMarrr’s first new song of the year. It follows the Meer Colon-assisted “Show Me Love,” which she released along with its Isiah Butler-directed video in October 2021.

Also, in 2021, TearMarrr joined forces with DUCKWORTH for “Specific,” announced as the lead single for an upcoming project.

Of the Duckwrth-assisted track, TeaMarrr told Rated R&B, “I was in a relationship where I couldn’t understand my partner’s specific wants, needs and desires but mine were very clear and consistent.”

She added, “He could not keep up nor speak my love language fluently. My love language is filled with words of specific affirmations and I NEEDED him to be specific but instead of yelling I tried to make it cute.”

TeaMarrr’s last project, Before I Spill Myself, was released in 2020. It featured appearances by SiR, D Smoke and Rapsody.
