Mary J. Blige to Release ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ Album on Vinyl

Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige’s latest album Good Morning Gorgeous will be available on vinyl Dec. 9 as a double LP.

It’s available for pre-order on Amazon, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Music Direct, Nail City Record and Target.

Some retailers offer exclusive colored versions of the 2LP, including Target, which pressed Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe) on red vinyl.

Meanwhile, Blige’s official website has an option for the album’s expanded version on crystal-clear double vinyl.

Led by the empowering title track and the DJ Khaled-assisted “Amazing,” Good Morning Gorgeous was released Feb. 11 via Mary Jane Productions Inc. /300 Entertainment.

The 15-song album followed 2017’s Strength of a Woman, which spawned the Billboard hit singles “Thick of It” and “U + Me (Love Lesson).”

Good Morning Gorgeous arrived two days before Blige performed at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, for which she won an Emmy

Good Morning Gorgeous, Blige’s 15th studio album, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 14 in the Feb. 26 issue. It also debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart.

Elsewhere, the title track, which D’Mile produced and co-wrote alongside Blige, H.E.R., Tiara Thomas and Lucky Daye, reached No. 1 on R&B radio and Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.

The self-love anthem debuted at No. 83 on the Billboard Hot 100, tallying Blige’s 42nd entry on the popular singles chart.

It marked her first entry on the coveted chart in over a decade, following 2011’s “Mr. Wrong” featuring Drake from her album My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act I).

In May, Blige released Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe) with six additional songs. Among the new tracks was a remix of “Come See About Me” featuring rapper Fabolous. She shared its sexy music video in late June.

Blige released “Here With Me” featuring Anderson Paak as the second proper R&B radio single from Good Morning Gorgeous. It reached No. 5 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart.

Most recently, Blige concluded her headlining Good Morning Gorgeous Tour with special guests Ella Mai and Queen Naija.

Blige is tied with Beyoncé for the most-nominated artist at the 2022 Soul Train Awards. Her seven nominations include Album of the Year for Good Morning Gorgeous, as well as The Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award and Video of the Year for “Good Morning Gorgeous.”
