A Formidable Dark Electronic and Synth-Pop Presence – Horizonte Lied Drop “Espectro de Vida”

Characterized by a bold, creative, and continually immersive journey, Horizonte Lied’s tracks have crafted a distinctive identity for the band

Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico — March 3rd, 2023 – Just another step of Horizonte Lied’s upcoming mammoth project- ‘Final Remasters’ (“Remasters Finales”), “Espectro de Vida” is a stunning musical composition. Rich, vivid, and striking- “Espectro de Vida” is the 3rd official release from the artists’ impactful roster.

Distributed under SynthpopYourWorld Records, the new single was unveiled for audiences on December 30th, 2022, and has been produced by Alex Ezert and Horizonte Lied. Depicting a dreary, awe-inspiring, and dark-undertone-laden remix made by each member of the band, Horizonte Lied’s new record has been heavily inspired by Depeche Mode’s darkest eras, portrayed in “Songs of Faith and Devotion.”

Inspired by classic sci-fi movies and TV shows such as The Terminator, The Matrix, Dark City, and The 13th Floor, Horizonte Lied present a crafty blend of experimental and alternative sounds. Coupled with philosophical messages embedded in their lyrics, the band offers a fresh musical perspective.

Featuring the creative talents of Jesus Logar, Bernardo Garza, and Alex Ezert, the band remains dedicated to exploring the boundaries of sound and music. Reflecting a range of styles, from post-apocalyptic to thrilling sci-fi soundscapes, and even elements of chill wave, Horizonte Lied deliver an experimental and thought-provoking sound, pushing the limits of music and exploring new creative avenues.

“We believe that since we’ve always been in the more underground scene here in Mexico and with significant longevity (20+ years together making music), we can offer a unique journey in the electronic scene!” say the artists regarding their music.

Creating a disruptive form of Spanish music which is uniquely their own, Horizonte Lied is an act that remains unrivalled.

ABOUT

Horizonte Lied is an electrifying band that produces unique electronic and organic fusion music with dark sound textures. The group was first established in June of 1992 by a group of members who were influenced by bands such as Depeche Mode, Clan of Xymox, Recoil, and Nine Inch Nails.

Initially, the band remained underground until 1996 when they changed their name from Horizonte Limite to Horizon Lied. The term ‘Lied’ is of German origin and has been used for centuries to represent one of the most significant poetic-musical art forms of all time. Franz Peter Shubert established the German ‘Lied’ as a new art form in the 19th century.

In 2014, Horizonte Lied resumed live performances in local venues and released their first song with English lyrics in 2018, which received great appraisal and coverage in several Spotify playlists and some blogs. This year, the band plans to release their entire body of work, including unreleased material with a remixed and remastered treatment, marking a significant milestone in their musical journey. Horizonte Lied continues to push the boundaries of electronic and organic fusion music, leaving a unique mark on the music scene.
