Exclusive Interview with Keegan Jacko

So excited to talk more with the talented Keegan Jacko. We love your voice! You have a new single you just dropped. How are you feeling about it? Excited? Nervous? Both?

To be honest I’m just happy to finally get that song out there for people to hear. I worked on that song 2 years ago with some of the greatest individuals I’ve ever met, Nate Milestein, Andrew Baylis and Jack Fowler. I’m very excited to release the new song “if I was you” on May 30th! It may be my favorite song I’ve ever done so far.

What can fans expect to hear when they listen to the new music if they have not listened before?

They can expect a high energy rock vibe that they’re not used to. We’ve been focusing on energy for a while now. I can’t wait for them to hear it.

How did you decide on this as your next release?

I have another in the line up to be released but when Brandon Hartt and I came up with this one I just knew there was something special about this song. It had to be this one next.

I know it is probably hard to choose BUT do you have a favorite song you have put out? Can you elaborate on why?

As far as my favorite song that I’ve put out??… I would say “I don’t wanna love you anymore” was the most well written song I’ve done. I wrote that song with Bear Redell and Will Garrett and it really reflected something I was going through at that time.

We feel like you would be amazing to catch live. Any plans to tour?

I am currently doing as much touring as I can on my own. As I’m writing this I am currently in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Then we were in Virginia, Florida again then Las Vegas. I am in the works right now to get a proper tour set up for 2024 especially with all the new music I am releasing this year.
