DaBaby’s in full New Jack City mode with his epic music video, “Selling Crack” co-starring Offset.
Reenacting iconic scenes from the 1991 action-crime film, New Jack City, DaBaby portrays Nino Brown and wrecks havoc throughout the city.
“Please don’t tell me that you lacking / You gon’ fuck ’round, get your ass caught out of bounds,” he raps as he and his crew run tenants out of an apartment, which he turns into The Carter. “Now I cleaned him up, go get a napkin / If you eating, then go pay your taxes,” he continues while carrying out drive-bys on his oppositions.
Meanwhile, Offset’s handing out turkeys to the locals in the hood including a local crack fiend inspired by the classic film’s character Pookie.
“I’m serving, I’m splurging, I’m watching my back, I’m observing / Trap full of birdies, it’s making me nervous,” Offset raps before the police infiltrate The Carter where Pookie’s cover is blown.
