Kota The Friend checks in and preaches positivity with his brand new record , “Hope You Heal”, which arrives alongside its music video.
In his self-directed video, the Brooklyn lyricist and his band spread good vibes with his therapeutic flow and his catchy rhymes.
“I don’t want stress in the crib / Make a nigga feel like there’s X in the crib / She just wanna pop out, flex with the kid / Party all night, have sex in the crib,” he raps.
“Hope U Heal” is Kota’s first official music since last year’s album, Lyrics To Go, Vol. 4. Last month, he re-visited his 2022 album To See A Sunset produced by Statik Selektah and released its deluxe edition with new music.
