Noise rock quartet Chat Pile are heading back out on the road later this year and not only will they and Nerver assault the east coast and midwest states, but they’ll get additional support from the likes of The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir, Empire State Bastard, and more along the way.
It’s been nearly a year since Chat Pile dropped God’s Country, and since then they’ve been busy scoring films, touring the west coast, playing huge festivals, and kicking all sorts of ass. Now, starting September 12 in Nashville, Tennessee, the band will head out on a 14-date stretch that will come to an end in St. Louis, Missouri on October 1.
“We told everyone for the longest time that you’d probably never see Chat Pile on the road for any extended period of time. Well, turns out we had no idea what we were talking about. Sometimes miracles do happen, and sometimes they’re kind of low-rent and inconsequential. We’re looking forward to hanging out with our friends in Nerver, as well as the other extremely cool bands joining us on this run.”
Along with announcing the tour, the band let slip that they’ve been working on their second studio album, though we don’t know anything else about that or when we could expect a release.
