Just two weeks stand between now and the release of Atreyu‘s new album The End is Not the End. With a tour on the horizon, the band released another single from the forthcoming album that features a very interesting Max Cavalera guest spot — “Children of Light.”
Speaking of the track itself, the band said they knew right away they needed to get a voice like Cavalera’s to bolster the song’s “primal spirit.”
“‘Children of Light’ was created with a primal spirit in mind. A ‘festival’ song. Heavily inspired by classic Sepultura, though it seemed like an untouchable ask, we wanted Max involved. We’re honored to share this song with a legend.”
