King Crimson’s Robert Fripp and Toyah Willcox Cover “Tainted Love”

Happy Valentine’s Day! Did you miss King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp and his wife, the actress and singer Toyah Willcox? They’re back with a cover of Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love” for this special holiday edition of their weekly Sunday Lunch video series.

The pair struck viral gold a few weeks back when their cover of Metallica’s “Enter the Sandman” (how they wrote it) went viral, and subsequent versions of songs by Billy IdolGuns N’ Roses, Jimi Hendrix and Joan Jett have also attracted quite a bit of attention, in no small part thanks to Willcox’s outfit choices and enthusiastic delivery.

Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, who got Fripp and Wilcox’s cover treatment last fall, recently said, “I think they’ve gone mad, actually,” about the duo.

You can watch their latest, the “Tainted Love” cover, below.
