Wormrot’s Classic Lineup is Back and They’re Putting Out a New Album Next Year

After years of revolving door lineup changes, Singaporean grindcore mainstays Wormrot announced that not only do they have a new album coming out next year, but it’s going to feature the band’s classic lineup.

In a pretty terse announcement on the band’s official Instagram page, Wormrot revealed the reunion by welcoming back founding vocalist Arif Suhaimi, who left the band in 2022, and drummer Fitri, who was an on-again-off-again member from 2007 to 2015:

“Even darkness must pass

“Welcome back, Arif and Fitri

“New noise in 2025”

Since it’s highly unlikely they’re referencing the classic Refused song (though how cool would it be to hear these guys cover that…), that last bit is where it’s believed that we’re getting a new album.
