Searchlight’s Ready or Not 2: Here I Come has set a theatrical release of April 10, 2026. The news was made official Thursday on social media.
The sequel to the 2019 cult horror movie that grossed $57 million has the Radio Silence directing team ofMatt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett returning with a screenplay from Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.
Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, Bradley J. Fischer and William Sherak are producing.
As we told you before, the cast includes a mix old and new guard:Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, David Cronenberg and Elijah Wood.
While the sequel’s storyline is being kept secret, the first movie revolved around a bride’s (Weaving) wedding night which takes a sinister turn when her eccentric new in-laws force her to take part in a terrifying game.
Also opening April 10 next year isYou & Me & Tuscany, Universal’s Halle Bailey and Rege-Jean Page movie from Kat Coiro.
