Watch Lady Gaga Perform “Zombieboy” and “Abracadabra” at Netflix Tudum 2025

In November, Variety reported that Lady Gaga would make a cameo in the second season of Netflix’s original series Wednesday. Now, the pop star’s role has officially been confirmed following her appearance at the streamer’s Tudum 2025 event last night (May 31). Lady Gaga will play Rosaline Rotwood, described as “a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday,” though her character won’t appear until the season’s second half releases on September 3. The first half of Wednesday Season 2 is out August 6. Below, find an extended clip from the premiere episode, which features Jenna Ortega in the titular role and Haley Joe Osment as a serial killer called the Kansas City Scalper.

After the release of Wednesday’s first season, in 2022, a sped-up remix of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way single “Bloody Mary” became a viral hit as part of a TikTok trend in which users would recreate Ortega’s “Wednesday Dance.” (The original scene was soundtracked by the Cramps’ “Goo Goo Muck.”) At Tudum, Lady Gaga was the evening’s closing act, performing her single “Abracadabra” and “Zombieboy,” from her new album, Mayhem. Both renditions incorporated portions of the original Addams Family theme song. Watch footage of the performance below.

Last month, Lady Gaga broke the record for the highest-attended performance of all time by a female artist, drawing 2.5 million attendees to her free concert in Rio de Janeiro. The occasion was tarnished, however, with the news of an alleged bomb threat, leading to the arrest of two men by Brazilian police. Since releasing Mayhem, in March, Lady Gaga pulled double duty as host and musical guest on an episode of Saturday Night Live and was one of the headliners at Coachella 2025. Her North American tour in support of the album kicks off on July 16 in Las Vegas
