andrew reed & the liberation Sees Their Goal Is Within Reach In ‘Pulsar (I Came, I Saw, I Conquered)’ – The Second Track In Their Cezar Trilogy

Opening a steady hum of loose, distant voices, sounding like a far off radio broadcast, ‘Pulsar (I Came, I Saw, I Conquered)’, the second instalment of andrew reed & the liberation’s prog rock trilogy, soon gives way to grand piano chords and then strident rock guitars.

Characterised by red light, the video shows a mask, almost blood-like in colour. The backdrop shows a spectacular city, which in itself first appears to be blood dripping down the wall. Rockstar Cezar steps into the scene, ready for the journey that lays ahead of him. He is clear of mind and filled with confidence and determination, in the sure knowledge that his prize is within his grasp, and is his for the taking.

Footage of the band performing adds an urgency and grandeur to the clip, the musicians also lit in red, uniting their scenes with the art deco styled ones of Cezar.

With soaring, distorted guitar riffs, and drums driving forward Cezar’s internal monologue, the listener is left in no doubt about his ambition, and his desire to control his own destiny.
