Loretta Swit, best known for playing Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan on the CBS sitcom M*A*S*H, died of suspected natural causes on May 30, 2025 at the age of 87 — and this week, MeTV is paying tribute to the iconic star. MeTV will air special episodes of M*A*S*H, celebrating Swit’s work on the show, every weeknight this week, starting on Monday, June 2 at 7pm and 7:30pm ET/PT. Swit earned ten Emmy nominations and two wins for her role as an Army nurse during the groundbreaking comedy’s 11 season run. One of her most memorable episodes was “The Nurses,” which she showcased her character’s talent and ongoing strength and vulnerability.
