Kehlani is feeling head over heels on her new single, “Next 2 U”.
On the sultry ballad produced by Dixson, the Oakland songstress sings the joys of her significant lover’s presence. The powerful music video finds Kehlani showcasing her elegant choreography moves while paying homage to Palestine.
“You’re more than the sun, you are the sun beams / Your love is high, wide like a river,” she sings with her fellow ladies while the wave their Palestine flag. “And if I die, I already fell in love with it / Ooh, I know what it’s like to feel like I’m dying in peace.”
The record follows April’s “After Hours” and are both off Kehlani’s forthcoming, Crash, the much-anticipated follow-up to her 2022 album, blue water road.
