This year’s Milwaukee Metal Fest was an absolute banger by all accounts. After all, we’d know because we were there — well, I wasn’t there because I’m chained to this computer, but my colleagues were — and it was a blast. So you can imagine the level of excitement that popped off when the dates and early bird tickets were announced for next year’s festival.
According to organizers, next year’s festivities will take place from May 16 to 18, with a pre-party slated for May 15. The festival will once again return to The Rave/Eagles Ballroom, too.
Though we don’t know who will be on the bill for next year’s fest, it’s not that hard to go out on a limb and say that it’s going to kick as much ass as this year’s fest did. For a quick refresher, bands like Blind Guardian, Symphony X, Mr. Bungle, Testament, Municipal Waste, The Red Chord, and Deicide were all part of this year’s festivities.
