Pro-Shot Video: The Wedding Band (Metallica, Bad Wolves, Etc.) Cover Billy Idol

On July 26, 2019 The Wedding Band — the all-star cover project led by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo — performed for an intimate crowd of 200 at the Cosmopolitan Music Hall at Cosmo Music in Ontario, Canada.

Cosmo Music has now released professionally-shot footage of The Wedding Band playing Billy Idol’s “White Wedding” as part of that evening’s performance. You can watch the video below.

In addition to Hammett and Trujillo, The Wedding Band consists of singer Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe), guitarist Doc Coyle (Bad Wolves, ex-God Forbid), and drummer Joey Castillo (ex-Queens of the Stone Age).

Metallica are currently working on new material, although drummer Lars Ulrich recent admitted that progress is moving at a “glacial” pace.
