UMI has the perfect chakra alignment for her latest project Introspection Reimagined. The title and songs take from last year’s meditative and dreamy EP.
With a strong focus on the stylish tones and rich arrangements, UMI gives the selections from her previous work a complete rebirth in an enchantingly musical way.
She revealed in a video announcement where she gained the drive to revamp the songs in the manner that she did. “I feel like people get to know me better by listening to this project or feel closer to me because I’m really letting myself sing for the first time,” UMI shared.
“This project is an art piece channeled from my spirit. Inspired by artists like D’Angelo and Erykah Badu – it’s a portal into a soul dimension of music.”
Included on Introspection Reimagined are two new interludes: “Solitude” and “Beautiful Day.” Each segue smooths out the record with a powerful sense of euphony.
