THE CORE: Scott Page

Nearly famous even before he was conceived Scott Page was the son of multi-instrumentalist, entrepreneur and band leader Bill Page, a Chicago born reed player who is recognized for his continuous presence on the Lawrence Welk show. It wasn’t unusual to see the very young Scott performing with his dad on the show as well. After his engagement with Welk, Bill Page continued to perform with artists including Barry Manilow, Judy Garland, Ted Mack, Frank Gorshin, and others. However this is not about Bill Page…although it very easily could be.

Scott Page, all grown up, also chose the musical and entrepreneurial life path. Most recognized musically as the saxophonist for the iconic bands Pink Floyd, Supertramp, and Toto, Page still continues to reinvent himself and the future. He has toured and worked with some of the most legendary artists on many different realms including Diana Ross, Quincy Jones, Leland Sklar, only naming a few. He was even privileged to meet and perform for Princess Diana…Most currently he founded the super-group Think:EXP an audience immersive band granting fans a unique concert experience. Members of the band include: Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), Kenny Olson (Hendrix Experience), Will Champlain (2 time Grammy winner), and the talented Derek Day.

His flight takes on many forms like the unfurling of feathers soaring upward into the light. As an entrepreneur and technologist Scott has celebrated a myriad of endeavors. He has worked on and led the Walt Tucker Productions, an audio, video post-production company producing projects for The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Janet Jackson, and others. He co-founded 7th Level, Inc a CD-ROM game, Tuneland, an interactive musical cartoon starring Howie Mandel and featuring David Gilmour, and a limitless array of other business and technology ventures. He has won industry awards including being named one of “The Top 100 Multimedia Producers” by Multimedia Magazine”, and one of the “100 Coolest People in Los Angeles” by Buzz Magazine, as well as one of the “50 New Media Innovators” in Pioneer Electronics’ Multimedia Frontier.

Most currently Scott has become engaged in the Non-fungible Token (NFT) market, the non-interchangeable unit of data on a blockchain, giving rights and ownership back to creators. Scott will be one of the speakers at “NFT LA” an In-Person Conference taking place March 28-30, 2022. He will be joining Mark Cuban, Steve Aoki, Jeff Zirlin and many others. It is set to take place at L.A. live in the convention center and will unmask cutting edge demos and networking, dazzling exhibits, epic performances, and unforgettable after parties.

In the ribbons of life yesterday is not always ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win in a world filled with optimism and hope.
