THEY., the R&B duo consisting of Drew Love and Dante Jones, have announced their Nü Moon Tour, their first headlining tour in six years.
The 15-date North American tour begins Sept. 21 at Neumos in Seattle, Washington, with additional dates in Chicago, New York and Phoenix, before wrapping Oct. 16 at Constellation Room in Santa Ana, California.
“Excited to officially announce the Nü Moon Tour. it’s been too damn long (almost 5 years) since we’ve been able to hit the stage and celebrate this music with everyone that’s been supporting us on this journey. Can’t wait to see y’all and finally perform all our favorite joints, from nü moon, amanda tape, hyena and everything in between,” wrote They in a joint Instagram caption.
Presale tickets are available now; general on-sale begins Friday, June 9, at 10 a.m. local time.
No special guests have been confirmed for the tour.
THEY. last toured as the main act in 2017 when they released their debut album, Nü Religion: Hyena.
Prior to this, the pair supported Bryson Tiller on his TRAPSOUL Tour in 2016.
Two years later, THEY. were special guests at 6LACK’s From East Atlanta With Love World Tour, along with Summer Walker, Tierra Whack, and Boogie.
THEY. will be playing new material from their third album, Nü Moon, which was dropped in April. Released on their independent imprint, Nü Religion Records, the 14-track includes features from the likes of Yung Bleu, Fana Hues and Bino Rideaux and singles “Blü Moon” and “Set Me Free.”
“This is our most introspective album to date. We really wanted to make something that felt personal and also reflective of our thoughts and trials we go through at this stage in our lives,” stated THEY.
Nü Moon is the follow-up to THEY.’s sophomore album, The Amanda Tape, which arrived in 2020.
More recently, THEY. appear on podcaster Rory’s debut album, I Thought It’d Be Different.
