Hello Blooming Fire! So lovely to speak with you today!
It’s our pleasure, thanks for having us!
Tell us about your latest project!
We spent the first half of the year focusing our energy on our visual EP ‘Dunia.’ The project encapsules our vision of tying together all 4 of our songs from our last EP into one collective visual experience that follows a storyline. Each song is different in its own way, but it brings one collective psychedelic vibe which permeates into the overall theme which makes it more like a short film in which the music tells the story. The Dunia Visual EP storyline delves into the life of a teenage girl who is coming of age. She ends up going on quite a few adventures which includes journeying into wormholes that transcend space and time, overcoming the adversity of social conditioning/programming which ultimately leads our main character into making a profound breakthrough that allows her to find bliss and inner peace within. It was a huge project filmed at over 22 locations and we captured a terabyte of footage! We’re very excited for the release.

How important do you think it is for artists to know and understand music history?
Nowadays it’s more important than ever for artists to connect with their roots. We’re so saturated with the new age overproduced products in the mainstream, that overall, there lacks the same resonance, soul, and presence that music used to have on the masses. This is just a personal opinion of course, but we think it’s important for the listeners to get more in touch with the building blocks that make modern music what it is.
Any upcoming projects you want us to know about?
After our fall tour we intend to head back into the studio before the end of the year to start recording some of our new songs that we are just itching to release to the world! We’ve been talking to some well-known producers in the industry and we are grateful and humbled by the opportunity to work with them.
Please let everyone know where they can keep up with you and your music!
