Exclusive Interview with Musician Adam Wissman

Welcome Adam Wissman! Excited to chat with you. You have a new single out – share with us more about it and why you led with this single?

My single “Rage Quit” was chosen because of its overall excitement for the listener. It has a heavy drop that features my 8 string guitar. The 8 string allows me to play in an extremely low range to create an effect reminiscent of styles like dubstep and metal. I also featured a hip hop/trap style beat to accompany the guitar riff which created an interesting fusion of musical styles. It was a sound I haven’t achieved yet as a recording artist, so I was very excited to share this track as a single.

Do you have any plans for a video for the single?

I plan on releasing an animated video, a guitar playthrough, and an official music video for this single this summer.

What do you want listeners to take away or feel after listening to your latest release?

My goal as a recording artist is to try and inspire other musicians to write and compose. I have always been inspired by recordings, so if I can pay it forward I feel accomplished as an artist. For non-musicians my goal is to bring them joy and excitement. It would also be really cool to hear about people using my single to get pumped up for a workout as well.

2022 is flying by us, do you have any career goals for yourself this year? Would you be willing to share some?

My goals for this year is to build an online website that features several products including merchandise for my music, an educational guitar course, and recording services for other artists. I also want to continue to build my audience for my original music. I love playing and writing so much, and I can’t wait to have more people hear what I am working on.

Tell us your favorite things about making music.

I love the feeling of hearing a finished track after several hours of work. My songs usually start with a basic idea and evolve into a finished product. The moment of hearing my track for the first time when it is mixed and mastered is always the best feeling in the world.

Where can we find you on socials to keep up with your journey and get our hands on your new music?

I am on all music streaming services, as well as Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
