Award-Winning Rock Band- the Happy Curmudgeons Undrape Remarkable New Track “Rustic Glory”

The Happy Curmudgeons accentuate a classic Rock feel alongside a vibrant new outlook, with their much-awaited newest release

Detroit, MI — June 26th, 2022 – A new side to Rock, Happy Curmudgeons newest drop, “Rustic Glory” is an impassioned and expressive new single for audiences to enjoy. Forming one key part of their second album, “2nd Chances”, “Rustic Glory” features several talented musicians who have come together to charm listeners.

A brainchild of artist Dave Hamilton, the Happy Curmudgeons came to life in 2015 and caught steam early on with the release of their first album, “Meant 2 Be” in 2017. The newest drop by the band, “Rustic Glory” has been penned by Dave Hamilton, who wrote the music and lyrics for the song.

The new track also features Dave Hamilton on lead vocals and guitar. Meanwhile, Billy Cox from the Band of Gypsys plays the bass, alongside Bobby Balderrama of the Question Mark & The Mysterians on guitar, Jim Moose Brown from the Bob Seger Band on the Hammond B3 organ, and Detroit Music Award winner Todd Glass on drums.

“Rustic Glory” also features acclaimed producer Mark Byerly, who has played with the likes of Bob Seger and Justin Timberlake, along with engineers Josh Ford and Joel Bunkowske. Underlining the experience of remembering a loved one who has passed away with fondness and affection, the new track is a poignant and moving tribute for listeners.

The Happy Curmudgeons have already released three songs in support of their next album, “2nd Chances”. The single features vocalist, Amy Dixon-Lavery, who won Best Americana Song at the 2020 W.A.M. music awards. Their last release, “I Know How You Feel”, won second place as the 2021 Best Americana Song at the 2021 W.A.M. music awards. The band features several studio musicians alongside four core members, Dave Hamilton, Amy Dixon-Lavery, Jeff Warner and Tumbleweed.
