When the pandemic first hit, the band was hit hard. It took away our freedom, including the freedom to express ourselves. It was no easy task to find inspiration but in the end it brought us to this album. “Another Way of Silence” is a child of this difficult time, a child of this silence.-
It is a mature album, an album where we are naked in the face of our inner world.
It is an album that allowed us to realize a dream: the one we had when as children when we played an album with the Universal logo –
Red Roll was born in the summer of 2018 formed by 4 lifelong musicians: Passo (vocals and guitar), Leo (guitars and vocals), Cesi (bass) and Jonny (drums).
Since that day, born almost as a joke, they have played nonstop and one step after another they found a way to get their music out there, despite the unprecedented times, full of restrictions, particularly in Italy.
-From the very beginning Red Roll it has been an outlet for our dreams, our frustrations, our pain and our ideas. It was and is a great black hole where the truest part of ourselves finds its home-
Congratulations are in order! You are performing at the LEGENDARY Whisky A GO GO! How did this feel like the right move for you?!
Thank you very much, we are really happy and we still can’t believe it. Whiskey a go go is an icon for Rock music …. and be able to play on that stage is a dream come true.
What were all the events that had to happen that finally led to the upcoming LIVE SHOW?!
We had an incredible summer! We played a lot of concerts all around Italy and we toured in Europe.
We have been chosen to open a Placebo concert in Bucharest and this has given us so much visibility!
It’s a beautiful moment: the new album is out on september 23 and many great concerts are on the way! Please don’t wake us up!

We are going to play our music, songs from the last Album: “Another Way Of Silence” and some songs from our first EP: “At the end the Beginning”.
We have already played these songs many times live and they have always had a strong impact on the audience. Let’s hope it’s the same thing for the American audience as well.
What is the importance of performing LIVE?!
We cannot think of the music without the live part. Today with social media you can reach all over the world at any time, but nothing can replace the uniqueness of a live performance, the screen will always miss the smell of that moment!
How do you make sure your fans are engaged throughout the show?
We try to create a strong relationship with the public right from the start. People don’t just come to listen to music, they come to experience an emotion.
What is the theme of this upcoming show?
Silence. But “Another Way Of Silence”. That silence that precedes a great burst of energy. That silence that exists between lightning and thunder. That Silence that becomes loud as a scream.
The silence of our inner world that we will scream with all the strength we have.
What is your special signature that you leave in your LIVE shows?
There, on stage, we are our truest part.
There are no rules and there are no schemes, each live concert is unique and unrepeatable. It all depends on the emotions that will be created with the audience … We live concerts as a great mental orgy.
