Congratulations on your upcoming release “Your Shade of Lipstick Sucks”! As it approaches how are you approaching this release?

We have been pushing our social media pretty hard for this release, especially twitter. That’s where we interact the most with our fans.

Making more music is so important to your fans. How excited are they for more new music?

Honestly they have been going crazy for us to release this song for months now, so I think they’re pretty excited.

How did you come up with the latest title?

The song is kinda a story about a shitty ex and we were like “whats something we’d say to her that’s just a hilarious insult?” And so Your Shade of Lipstick Sucks was what stuck.

How would you describe the sound for the song?

The song has a cool swing to it and gets people moving around. It’s also one of our most catchy hooks, people love a good “whoa oh oh” in a song.

What is the emphasis you want to make with this song?

As fun as the song is, the underlying message is that gaslighting and emotional abuse are very real and hard to see through sometimes. Even when the people closest to you see it, you’re blinded by what you think is love.

Can we have the pre-save link to support!

Absolutely!!

Were there any sacrifices you had to make for the latest single?

I wouldn’t really say sacrifices but getting this single out put us in a situation where things were done a little differently. Our process was kinda changed up and we worked with a new mixing engineer, so that was pretty fun.
