Kahlil Martin will be a featured guest on “If These Walls Could Talk” with hosts Wendy Stuart and Tym Moss on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 at 2 PM ET live from the infamous Pangea Restaurant.

Wendy Stuart is an author, celebrity interviewer, model, filmmaker and along with If These Walls Could Talk she hosts TriVersity Talk, a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community.

Tym Moss is a popular NYC singer, actor, and radio/tv host who recently starred in the hit indie film “JUNK” to critical acclaim.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Kahlil Martin rose against adversity, beat the odds and moved to the Big Apple at the Young age of 16. It was while in New York City auditioning for the Joffrey Ballet School, that he became rooted into the city’s entertainment culture. “I danced for Joffrey Ballet from the age of 16-24”, recalls Martin who was also often publicly scouted to model for major fashion brands. After my long stint in the  Joffrey Ballet, I then began to dance in music videos for several pop artists such as CeCe Peniston”, states Kahlil.

In addition to dancing, Kahlil was infatuated with New York City’s nightlife. “I went from dancing in the clubs to becoming the right hand man to the legendary club mogul Peter Gatien”, states Kahlil. “Working for Peter, I ran almost four (4) clubs per night! Limelight, the Tunnel, and the Palladium were some of the hottest social scenes where several celebs would grace the dance floor and I loved it. This job afforded me with the opportunity to not just have fun in clubs, but to learn within the billion dollar business and the inner workings of nightlife”, smiles Martin.

While incorporating his total love for the arts and entertainment, Kahlil fell in love with fashion as well. Kahlil was blessed to work for fashion icon/designer Patricia Fields, the famed costumer for the likes of “Sex and the City”, “Ugly Betty”, “The Devil Wears Prada” and more. After the doors closed on the well-known bowery street boutique, Kahlil then went on to continue his education where he attended and graduated from Westchester Community College. There, he majored in Human Services and Psychiatry while running his very own talent management company, D17 Management.  “I have always had that entrepreneurial spirit”.

I launched my first book called “sleeping with the enemy the Kahlil Martin story 2021” out on Amazon, https://www.kahlilmartin.com and Barnes & Noble. I recently starred in “Finding Chrissy” 2021, and “Who loves Josie” 2023.

My music can be found on all music platforms. Two fan favorites are “Bop Bop”  and “In the Mood”.  “I’m launching my non-profit The Kahlil Martin Foundation for LGBT youth which will include such things as education and mental health services and eventually housing!”

“I’ve been a public speaker speaking to youth about the entertainment industry about the dues and don’ts of the industry for a few years !”
