A New Rhythm for Industrial Electronic, Synth, and Dark Pop Music- Horizonte Lied Unveils Remastered Record ‘Memorias de Cronicas Futuras’

Released under their SynthpopYourWorld Records label, the band’s latest drop echoes a semi conceptual trip through darkness, faith, and hope

Monterrey, NL, Mexico — July 4th, 2023 – Horizonte Lied continues to push the boundaries Electronic music, with their thrilling, brooding, new record- ‘Memorias de Cronicas Futuras.’ The electrifying new album is an updated, re-mixed and remastered version for the 2023 leg of the band’s bigger project – “Final Remasters.”

Underscoring the 11th release from this project and the second long duration album from their body of work, the new album was released on June 16th, 2023. Produced by electronic music producer Alex Ezert and the band Horizonte Lied, the new record has been distributed by independent record label SynthpopYourWorld Records.

Marking another visceral, semiconceptual album (following the framework of their previous album ‘Reciclaje’), the new album now focuses upon the writings (and unwritings) of memories from a person navigating the human experience.

The powerful semi conceptual record features band vocalist Jesús Logar as he takes the vocals to darker and edgier places, while also contributing more musical input in several tracks. Similarly, Alex Ezert and Bernardo Garza continue with their memorable composing and arranging, with Alex polishing the final production as previous releases.

The record encompasses a spectrum of human emotions- from the initial unexpected but positive feeling of pure love to different phases of confusion, procrastination, deception, depression, social epiphany, and finally faith and optimism during the neverending uncertainties of life.

Horizonte Lied’s newest release offers dark industrial tones with a underlying hopeful state of mind for the listener and lyrics-wise tries to offer a similar experience. With the journey through each track mirroring a distinct emotion, this new album is inspired by some of the works by David Lynch, David Fincher around 1997-2003, and musical influences of Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails.

ABOUT

Horizonte Lied is an electrifying band that produces unique dark pop electronic and organic blend of music with industrial sound textures. The band was first established in June of 1992 by longtime high school friends who were influenced by bands such as Depeche Mode, Clan of Xymox, Recoil, and Nine Inch Nails.

In 2002, Horizonte Lied had the great opportunity to be the opening band for the legendary gothic band Clan of Xymox in Guadalajara, Jalisco, MX, giving them invaluable exposure and recognition in the dark pop underground scenes. Years later, the artists resumed live performances in several local venues and released their first song with English lyrics in 2018, “Wishing to be there” which received great appraisal and coverage in several Spotify playlists and some blogs.

This year, the band continues to release their entire body of work, including remaining previous and unreleased material with a remixed and remastered treatment, marking a significant milestone in their musical journey now with the support of their label SynthpopYourWorld Records.
