Co-produced by industry veterans Joe “Baby” Michaels and guitarist Scott Sharrard, known for his work with the Greg Allman Band and Little Feat, the album received acclaim for its unique blend of rock, R&B, and the unmistakable flavors of the Louisiana bayou.

“Creole Skies” showcases a lineup of veteran musicians, including guitarist Scott Sharrard, keyboardist Bill McKay (Derek Trucks Band, Leftover Salmon), and drummer Eddie Christmas (New Orleans Suspects, John Cleary, The Black Crowes).

The album was recorded at the iconic Dockside Studio in Maurice, Louisiana, a place that has witnessed the creation of eight Grammy-winning albums. Building on the success of their debut, Johnny & The Mongrels embraced the summer of 2022 with their sophomore album, “Magnolia & Pine.”

Produced by Joe Baby Michaels and recorded at Dockside Studio, the album featured an exceptional lineup, including Eddie Christmas on drums, James H. Dumm on guitar and Phil Breen (Samantha Fish, Russell Batiste) on keys.
