Maryland Deathfest 2025 to Feature Obituary, Paradise Lost, Nile, and More

This year’s edition of Maryland Deathfest kicks off tomorrow, but that don’t mean the folks behind it all haven’t been getting ready to blow your head off with next year’s fest. No sir — in fact, they dropped the first wave of band announcements earlier today and let’s just say it’s a doozy.

Featuring the likes of bands like Dark Funeral, Orange Goblin, and Nile, next year’s 20th anniversary fest will be one to remember. Couple that with the fact that Obituary is going to play a 35th anniversary set for Cause of Death and Paradise Lost will play a 30th anniversary Draconian Times set and things go off the fuckin’ charts.

Remember, this is the first set of bands. There’s more to come, as next year’s MDF will take place from May 22 to May 25, 2025. According to organizers, ticket and early bird pass information will be made available next week, once this year’s fest comes to a close.
