I know we talk a lot about all of the festivals happening in the U.S. and Europe, but our friends in the northern part of North America also have their own shit going on that’s worth checking out. One such thing is the annual Armstrong MetalFest, set to take place on July 12 and July 13 at the IPE Grounds & Hassen Arena in Armstrong, British Columbia.
Considered western Canada’s “largest mountain mosh pit,” the two-day bash features some killer acts and tons of extra-curricular activities. Earlier this week, organizers announced that they were adding Atræ Bilis, Bodybox, and Gregorious to an already stacked lineup, which you can check out below:

Tell me that doesn’t look like it’s going to be one hell of a fest. Having been going on for 14 years now, this festival’s seemingly one of the lesser known ones, but it should absolutely be on your radar if you can make it up to the Great White North.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now, with all tickets providing general admission access to the festival grounds, free camping area, and arena from 9 a.m. on Friday, July 12 until 12 p.m. on Sunday, July 14. You
