DJ and producer ESTA. has released his debut album, FRANCIS, via The Orchard.
The 10-track set features some of the brightest voices emerging in R&B, including Kenyon Dixon, Leon Thomas, Joyce Wrice, Arin Ray, Phabo, and more.
FRANCIS also features ESTA.’s longtime collaborator Mack Keane, who appears on two tracks: “Outta Space” with Dixon and “Serenity” with Brandon Banks.
Though the album features 12 distinct voices, it flows with ease as if all collaborators were locked in the studio at the same time. It’s best enjoyed in its entirety — no need to skip around.
FRANCIS was preceded by the single “Too Fast” with Duckwrth and Joyce Wrice and “Dangerous Game” with Leon Thomas. The former track, which is the lead single, received a video directed by Chris Cadaver and Christian D.K. Long.
On June 8, ESTA. will launch his Too Fast Tour, during which he will perform DJ sets in San Francisco, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and San Diego. (Tour dates and locations are provided below.)
