Paramount+ has revealed the official trailer for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ahead of its series premiere in August.
The 2D animated show picks up from the events of last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and will see the voice cast of Micah Abbey as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Brady Noon as Raphael, and Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil reprising their roles from the film.
In the trailer, Pete Davidson guests as a Turtles superfan named Rod who meets his heroes for the first time. The brothers are then separated to take on the big bad Bishop (Alanna Ubach), described as “a brilliant inventor who believes mutants are the greatest danger to humanity and that all of them, including the Turtles, must be eliminated.”
All 12 episodes of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will premiere on Paramount+ on August 9th.
