Listen to Soccer Mommy’s “reflective” new single ‘Lost’

Soccer Mommy has shared ‘Lost’, her first new single since 2022. Check it out below.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter, real name Sophia Allison, has been showcasing the new track on her ‘The Lost Shows’ tour in her native US, and it’s the first single she’s released since her 2022 album ‘Sometimes Forever’.

While Soccer Mommy released ‘Karaoke Night’, an EP featuring covers of some of her favourite songs, in September, ‘Lost’ is the first original material she’s shared in almost two years.

“‘Lost’ feels like something new and something old at the same time,” she said of the track. “It’s a song that’s full of reflection and I wanted its production to really capture that feeling. I’m happy to have a chance to play it at these more intimate solo shows, because I think it really shines in that setting.”

‘Lost’ has an emotive, melancholy feel, mixing mellow acoustic guitar with moving strings. “Lost in a way that don’t make sense / Lost in a way that never ends,” Soccer Mommy sings in the chorus, the sadness in her voice palpable.

This comes after she brought out Phoebe Bridgers on stage last week during her Masonic Lodge gig in LA for a cover of Elliott Smith’s ‘The Biggest Lie’. Soccer Mommy also gave three news tracks their live debuts: ‘Abigail’, ‘Thinking of You’, and ‘Changes’.
