Carcass is Replacing At The Gates on This Year’s Headbanger’s Boat

We’re a few months out from the second iteration of Lamb of God‘s Headbanger’s Boat, but unfortunately a pretty change to the lineup of bands slated to perform over the five-day cruise was recently announced.

According to an announcement made via Lamb of God’s social media, it seems some unresolvable “scheduling conflicts” have forced At The Gates to pull out of the event. Rather than leave a glaring hole in their performance schedule or ask other bands to play much longer sets, Carcass is stepping in to take up the spot as a replacement act.

“Headbangers! We regret to announce that At The Gates is unable to perform on the boat this year due to scheduling conflicts. We are, however, excited to announce the addition of Carcass to the 2024 Headbangers Boat lineup!”

Despite the change, the lineup is still pretty damn good. From Dethklok to Poison The Well to Corrosion of Conformity and everything in between, it looks like there’s going to be a kick ass concert happening whenever you feel the need to hit a stage and throw down with your fellow shipmates.

You can check out the full list of bands set to perform below:

  • Lamb of God
  • Dethklok
  • Chimaira
  • Poison The Well
  • Carcass
  • Soulfly
  • Exodus
  • Napalm Death
  • Corrosion Of Conformity
  • After The Burial
  • Currents
  • Bleeding Through
  • Unearth
  • Eyehategod
  • Frozen Soul
  • UnityTX

This time around, the cruise will be aboard the Norwegian Gem instead of the Norwegian Pearl, which unfortunately had a man go overboard during last year’s cruise. This year’s cruise will take place from October 28 to November 1 and will head to Puerta Plata in the Dominican Republic before coming back to Miami.

Though the cruise is completely sold out, Lamb of God announced that a very limited number of cabins will be released this Friday, so be sure to keep an eye on the cruise’s official website to potentially grab yourself a spot.
