Aphex Twin Announces Selected Ambient Works Volume II Expanded Edition

The pioneering ambient album will be available in all formats for the first time this autumn

Aphex Twin has announced an expanded edition of his album Selected Ambient Works Volume II. The pioneering 1994 LP will be released in all formats for the first time October 4 via Warp, arriving in digital, 3xCD, double-cassette, and 4xLP standard and box set editions, which include a fold-out poster, sticker sheet, and booklet containing sketches for the original artwork by designer Paul Nicholson. The release also features the previously vinyl-only track “#19,” which Aphex Twin has also shared today, alongside two additional tracks, “Th1 [Evnslower]” and “Rhubarb Orc. 19.53 Rev.” Check out “#19” and the expanded edition tracklist below.

Aphex Twin’s latest release was 2023’s Blackbox Life Recorder 21f / in a room7 F760 EP, which marked the electronic artist’s first new music in five years. He also headlined the Field Day festival at London’s Victoria Park last year.
