Boris and Melvins to Release a Split Album Called Twins Of Evil

Two of heavy music’s more… off-beat acts are going to release what should be a wild ride of a split album, as Boris and Melvins announced the upcoming release of Twins of Evil. Though these two bands are no strangers to one another — they most recently co-headlined the ‘Twins of Evil’ tour last year — this is the first collab between the two to take place on a physical piece of music you can own.

The two-track release features an edit of Melvins’ track “Funny Equals Pain” from their last album Tarantula Heart titled “Pain Equals Funny” and a new Boris song titled “Cry -狂叫-“. Both songs are about 20 minutes long, so you’ll be getting your money’s worth.

And while the vinyl version of the split won’t be available until June 30, the CD version is already out there, so you can get your own today.

Later this year, Boris will be touring North America performing the entirety of their debut album Amplifier Worship. Their live lineup will feature two drummers and an extended backline, so it should go without saying that this will be a spectacle not to miss. You can find the tour dates below.
