Khalid Announces New Album ‘Sincere’ and Release Date

Alt-R&B singer Khalid has announced his third album, Sincere, will release Aug. 2 via Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records.

Sincere is a combination of my life experiences, it takes inspiration from conversations that I have had with my fans, supporters, and the people that love me,” explains Khalid.

He continues, “When I listen back to this project, I hear a sound that’s so unique and represents me at my best. This album is me at 26, continuing to evolve with the knowledge that I have garnered throughout the years.”

The 16-track album will include the singles “Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me” and “Adore U.”

Regarding the latter track, produced by Digi and Justin Lucas, Khalid noted, “‘Adore U’ is one of my favorite records. It delivers a melancholic experience filled with ethereal melodies and soulful vocals setting the tone for my upcoming album that I can’t wait for my fans to experience.”

Khalid launched his new album era with “Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me,” released on May 10.

“The last few years consisted of me working diligently on what I presume to be my best and most personal album yet,” he said at the time of the song’s release.

“I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time in the studio working with some of my favorite creatives just to deliver this amazing body of work and now I finally get to share a piece of me in my new era with my day one fans!”
