Jon Rice to Fill In for Behemoth Drummer Inferno During European Tour

Though they’ve got an European tour kicking off this Thursday, Behemoth were forced to make a sudden lineup change, as their drummer Inferno was forced to stay home due to health concerns. With just days before the band hits the road, they’ve announced that ex-Job for a Cowboy and current Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats drummer Jon Rice would take his place.

This isn’t the first time that Rice will be behind 2022.

Speaking of the change, Behemoth frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski said he hoped Inferno would get better soon, while also praising Rice for stepping up.

“With the deepest regret in our hearts I must inform you that due to health issues Inferno was forced to stay home and take care of his well being and we are enforced by Jon Rice on drums! Please wish Godspeed recovery to Inferno and cross fingers for Jon to outdo himself and make us sound as powerful as possible!”
