LL Cool J’s GOAT status still remains on the rap veteran’s latest single, “Passion”.
The nostalgic visual that compliments the release finds the Queens MC confidently rapping as he jots in his rhyme book and taking center stage.
“All these cats blue in the face when I come in the place /Money track you could run a relay race in my safe,” he raps over Q-Tip’s hypnotic beat. He continues, “Y’all need a new team like a girl wit a BBL need new jeans / I’m a dog with the shit /T here’s food in my pen you would think I breed pits.”
“Passion” arrives on the heels of announcing his highly-anticipated and fourteenth studio album, The Force, which now launches August 6. The album, which has spawned the first single, “Saturday Night Special” with Fat Joe and Rick Ross, will also include features from Eminem, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Saweetie, and more.
