Michael C. Hall to Return as Dexter for Two New Series

Michael C. Hall will reprise his role as serial killer Dexter Morgan in two new Dexter series coming to Paramount+ with Showtime.

Hall will star in a brand new series called Dexter: Resurrection, which is set to premiere in summer 2025.

Additionally, he’ll narrate the inner voice of a young Dexter in the upcoming prequel series Dexter: Original Sin. Set to premiere in December 2024, Dexter: Original Sin takes place 15 years before the events of the original series. Patrick Gibson plays the younger version of Dexter Morgan, while Christian Slater portrays his father Harry, and Molly Brown is cast as his adoptive sister Debra. A newly released teaser trailer for the series, as debuted at Comic-Con on Friday night, can be seen below.

The original Dexter series ran for eight seasons beginning in 2006. In 2020, Hall returned for a 10-episode limited series called Dexter: New Blood.
