Kandi Burruss’ New R&B Group PsiRyn Shares Debut Single ‘Sober’

There’s a new R&B girl group in town. Kandi Burruss‘ trio, PsiRyn (pronounced ‘siren’), has released their debut single, “Sober.”

On the track, co-written and co-produced by the Xscape member herself, PsiRyn seeks a vice to cope with love’s woes.

“I think I’m way too sober / Lost in my emotions / Need somethin’ to focus / Just to hold me over,” they sing on the radio-ready chorus.

“Sober” features additional production Jonathan “Jay-O” Henry and Liby Vongmanee, who are also co-writers, along with Natalie Orfilia and Stephen Parks.

PsiRyn consists of members Jada Denise, Anaya Chayenne, and Victoria McQueen. Kandi introduced the group via social media in 2023.

Their acapella cover of Anita Baker‘s “Sweet Love” went viral across platforms, racking up 564K views on TikTok and 60K likes on Instagram
