Korn is the Most Valuable Artist Per Concert Ticket Cost, New Study Shows

Going to a show is fucking expensive nowadays, and, since everything else costs entirely too much for no fucking reason, who the hell wants to pay out of the ass to see anything? JeffBet, that one website that looks like it could be shady but is totally real for playing casino games and betting on shit, just released a study that gives a whole new perspective for getting ripped the fuck off when it comes to seeing an artist live.

The study broke down the artists who are the most expensive to see per minute of their set, and even though I’m terrible at math and never thought of trying to figure this out before, I’m freakin pissed with most of the figures besides the one that really matters.

According to the study, Korn gives you the best metal fuck for your buck. With their sets being around an hour and a half usually, their concerts are only .39 cents per minute, with the average ticket price being $38.

The results came from information compiled by analyzing figures from Setlist.fm and Pollstar over the four years of 2019–2023. For reference, most artists on the list are marked with full dollar amounts per minute. Like the Rolling Stones, who usually play for around two hours, at a rate of $1.78 per minute. Blink-182 costs about $1.53 per minute, but the real kicker comes from boomer-ass U2.

Their shows are anywhere from one to two hours long, and their tickets average around $272 per ticket, meaning their cost per minute is $2.12. Who the fuck wants to pay for that? It’s actually pretty wack when looking at the stats for artists like Taylor Swift. Even though Swifties basically ruin everything, because Swift performs for like a whole work shift, you end up getting a longer show for the amount that you pay.

At the end of the day none of this information matters, but at least Korn wants to do us right.
