Down Finally Get to Make Up Their Postponed New Mexico Show

Back in June, Down announced that they were unable to play a show in New Mexico due to wildfires that were in the region. It was a huge bummer for everyone involved, especially the people in that region who not only missed out on a great show, but also had to worry their entire lives would go up in flames.

Fast forward to today and the supergroup featuring Phil Anselmo, Pepper Keenan, Kirk Windstein, Pat Bruders, and Jimmy Bower announced that they’re going to finally play the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero, New Mexico on Friday, September 27. The announcement makes good on the band’s promise that they’d be back.

“Put on your drinkin’ pants and your drinkin’ skirt, get to the mountains and let’s get weird!”

Coming along for the special gig is none other than Off-Broadway comedian and friend of the website, Dave Hill.

Tickets are on sale right now.
